Garden with Us

Come garden with us! Our garden plots offer great value, and include access to tools, water, compost, community support, and gardening workshops. Please take a look at our Gardener’s Lease Agreement Form as well as our FAQ’s Page and contact us for more information or to sign up. This season we are offering garden plots on a by-donation basis to those who can commit to managing their plot throughout the entire growing season. For more information, please contact programs@alandaycommunitygarden.org - we would love to have you grow with us!

New to gardening? Our community partners at Oxford County Cooperative Extension Office will match you with a Garden Mentor. Let them know you have a plot at the Community Garden and they will be sure to offer non-chemical, organic solutions to your gardening challenges. Contact extension.oxford@maine.edu or (207)743-6329 to get connected with a volunteer in the Master Gardener program.

Community Gardens are sprouting up all over the country and around the world. Why? What benefits and opportunities do they offer that makes them so popular?
