Community Farmers' Market

The 2021 Community Farmers' Market will be held on Friday evenings from 5-8pm, July 9th to September 3rd and will feature live music, ready-to-eat foods, a pizza oven, workshops and cooking demos, vegetables and crafts for sale, and SNAP EBT. We welcome SNAP EBT and are proud to offer Maine Harvest Bucks as well, which doubles every dollar spent using SNAP to purchase fruits and veggies.

Alan Day Community Garden welcomes new farmers, food processors, and crafters to join the Market.

The Community Market is supported by the Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare Foundation (HPHF) to grow our volunteer program and increase the amount of local food grown, gleaned, and distributed in the community; All food and produce offered by the ADCG is "by donation" as part of our ongoing efforts to create affordable, local food access. The goal and vision of the HPHF Healthy Food Fund Grant is that “by mobilizing the energy of local and corporate volunteers to grow, glean and distribute healthy produce for low-income families across our region, we want to create a movement of “neighbors feeding neighbors” and expand the number of citizens advocating for fresh, local, healthy food equity.
