Foothills Foodworks strengthens access to nutritious, local food by connecting farms, businesses, and community across the Western Maine region. Our mission is to expand the local food economy through regional collaboration, food processing and distribution, and hands-on education that empowers students and neighbors to support a resilient local food system.

Ways to Support

FRIDAY FOOD DRIVE

On November 21st, we invite you to  support community food acess by donating non perishable food items from 9 am to noon. Foods donated will help sustain our community Little Free pantry, open 7 days, dawn to dusk, and will also be shared with neighboring pantries and meal sights.

Top non perishable needs:

Canned Diced Tomatoes &. Pasta Sauce
Cannded fruit in juice (not syrup)
Canned Soups
Canned Chiken & Fish
Pasta, Ramen, Mac & Cheese

Cant make it Friday? The Woods Maine, located at 400 Main St in Norway, has generously offered to be an additional drop site.

We will also be welcoming volunteers to help us keep the free soup stage stocked! If you’re interested in helping out, please email:
